Obituary: Malcolm Thomas Coffey Source: Daily New Leader, 25 Nov 1991. Contributor: Wayne Coffey --------------------------------------------------- WAYNESBORO -- Malcolm Thomas Coffey, 71, of Arch Ave., died Saturday morning (Nov. 23, 1991) in Waynesboro Community Hospital. He was born January 8, 1920 in Nelson County, a son of John M. and Ninnie Coffey. He was a member of Mountain View Mennonite Church and retired from the Crompton Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rachel B. Coffey, on Oct. 3, 1986. Survivors include a brother, Winfred M. Coffey of Lyndhurst and a number of nieces and nephews. A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday at Mountain View Mennonite Church by the Revs. Charles Ramsey and Stan Shirk. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers, will be Lynwood Bridge, Glenwood Bridge, Johnny Brooks, D.F. Wright, Mark Ramsey and Doug Ramsey. The family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. tonight in the Waynesboro chapel of Etter Funeral Home and other times at the residences of Mary and Winfred Coffey and Roger and Debbie Coffey.
