Obituary: Virginia C. Coffey, 29 Mar 1988 Source: Staunton News Leader, 31 Mar 1988 Contributor: Oscar Nuckols ----------------------------------------------------- Mrs. Virginia Catherine Coffey 60, of 10-4 Hopeman West Apartments, died Tuesday night (March 29) at the University of Virginia Hospital. She was born in Waynesboro on April 21, 1927, a daughter of the late Guy P. and Susie F. Bailey Pangle. Mrs. Coffey was a member of West Waynesboro Church of Christ. She was a supervisor at Genicom Corp. and had worked there for 34 years. Survivors include two sons, William E. Campbell of Hot Springs, Ark., and Donald R. Campbell of Harrisonburg; one daughter, Karen M. Coffey of Charlottesville; one sister, Mrs. Vivian N. Peyton of Waynesboro; four brothers, Ray A. Pangle and Carl P. Pangle, both of Waynesboro, James R. Pangle of Danbury, Conn., and Russell E. Pangle of Lafayette, La.; and five grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Augusta Memorial Park by Phillip R. Forehand. The family requests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to West Waynesboro Church of Christ, 2212 Courtland St., Waynesboro, Va. 22980. The family will receive friends at 7 p.m. Friday at West Waynesboro Church of Christ.
