Obituary: ETHEL O. COFFEY, 15 Apr 1990 Source: Staunton News Leader, April 17, 1990 Contributor: Oscar Nuckols ----------------------------------------------------- WAYNESBORO - A service for Ethel (O'Baugh) Coffey, 84, of 401 Wayneridge Road, who died 12:55 p.m. Sunday (April 15, 1990) at Waynesboro Community Hospital, will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednes-day in Riverview Cemetery by the Revs. Earl Hammer and Floyd Murphy. Her body is at the Lindsey Weyers Cave Funeral Home, but the family will receive friends at the home of her daughter, 401 Wayneridge Road, with whom she lived. There will be no public viewing. Those desiring may make memorials to the Waynesboro First Aid Crew. A daughter of the Linden A. and Martha (Perry) O'Baugh, she was born on June 27, 1905 in Rockingham County where she lived her early life. She attended New Hope High School and lived in the Waynesboro community the majority of her life. Mrs. Coffey was employed in the nursing service at Waynesboro Community Hospital for 25 years. She was a member of Glovier Memorial United Methodist Church. On June 25, 1925 she married William E. Coffey, who died June 18, 1941. Surviving are one daughter, Jean Coffey Critzer of Waynesboro; and one grandson whom she helped to rear; and one brother, Hiram F.
