Staunton - A funeral service for the Rev. Caleb Roy Everett Jr., 59, was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Central United Methodist Church, Staunton. Burial was Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms. Superintendent of the Staunton District of the United Methodist Church, he died Saturday in an automobile accident in Augusta County. A native of Sedley, he was the husband of Mrs. Laverne Cook Everett. He graduated from Randolph-Macon College and Duke University School of Divinity. He served pastorates in Portsmouth, Richmond, Roanoke and Northern Virginia before becoming district superintendent last year. Other survivors include a daughter, Miss Betsy Everett of Fairfax; two sons, Stephen R. Everett of Montpelier, Vt. And Leslie Everett of Harrisonburg; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Caleb R. Everett Sr. of Newsoms; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Reed of Emporia and Mrs. Robert Mish of Lexington; and a brother, Joseph Everett of Newsoms. Memorial donated may be made to Virginia United Methodist Assembly Center, P.O. Box 540, Blackstone, Va. 23824. Rev.
