Obituary: Janet G.C. Rutherford, 8 Aug 1999 Source: Waynesboro News Virginian - August 10, 1999 Contributor: Oscar Nuckols ----------------------------------------------------- Janet Grey Coffey Rutherford, 65 of 3124 Lancaster Blvd., died Sunday afternoon (Aug. 8, 1999) at Augusta Medical Center, Fishersville. She was born Dec. 19, 1933, in Augusta County, the daughter of Jessie Jane Ray Coffey and the late Dewey L. Coffey Sr. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her by a brother, Peter H. Coffey. In addition to her mother, Jessie Jane Ray Coffey of Waynesboro, she is survived by her husband, Robert Porter Rutherford, four daughters, Pamela S. Pangle and her husband, Bradley, of Waynesboro, Julie G. Dindinger and her husband, 'I'ad, of Riner, Jennifer R. Yancey and her husband, Mike, of Stuarts Draft, and Kim D. Kirschnick and her husband, Matt, of Stuarts Draft, two brothers, Dewey L. Coffey Jr., and Donald F. Coffey, both of Waynesboro; a sister, Helen V. Lipsky of Waynesboro, and eight grandchildren, Eric S. Pangle, Lindsey N. Yancey, Brett M. Yancey, Megan C. Hunt, Heather R. Dindinger, Thomas A. Dindinger II, Haley A. Kirschnick and McKenzie I. Kirshchnick. A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Waynesboro chapel of Reynolds Funeral Service by Kenneth McDonald and the Rev. Earl Monroe. Burial will follow at Augusta Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the residence following the service. Active pallbearers will be Fred Wills, Larry Monroe, Don Layne, Arnett Tomey, Richard Slosson, Nolan Clark, Lewis Kelly and Ron Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be nieces, nephews and her golfing companions. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Waynesboro First Aid Crew, P.O.
