Will: John Aldhizer, 1847 Source: Augusta Co., VA Will Book 28, page 239 Contributor: Confedtrvl@aol.com -------------------------------------------------------- In the name of God Amen, I John Aldhizer of the county of Augusta State of Virginia being (unreadable) by old age (unreadable) of my making this my last will and testament. 1st- I bequeath that my funeral expences be paid as soon as practicable. 2nt -I bequeath that my beloved wife Susan Aldhizer a life ( unreadable) and property to all my personal and real estate . 3rd -I bequeath all my personal property and land after the decease of my wife Susan Aldhizer to my two daughters, Nancy Aldhizer and Elizabeth Aldhizer-Parrish and family all to have equal rights to the same. And for further execution of this my last will and testament, I appoint Thomas Parrish as my executor from which I require no security be given. In testimony of all this my last will and testament I herewith offer my name and seal this day the 26th day of April, 1847.
