James Gregory Will- 

     In the name of God amen, I James Gregory, being sick and in low 
condition but, in perfect sense and memory do dispose of my affairs as 
follows and first I recommend my body to the earth and my soul to God who 
gave it and as for my worldly affairs as follows viz my dear and loving 
mother. I leave her sole excutioner to call in my credits and pay out my 
debts and the remainder with my land to give to my loving brother Willaim, 
so help us God, gave under my hand this 2nd day of July 1771

NB My brother brother Naphtaly is to have five pounds & the other two, 
Samuel and John is to have ten pounds each out of the above will.

    At a court held for Augusta County, March the 15th, 1774, the last 
will and testament of James Gregory, decd being formerly proven by the 
oaths of Samuel Vance one of the witnesses hereto was this day futher 
proved by the oath of William Fullen the other witness read and ordered 
to be recorded.
