I James McChesney of Augusta County & State of Virginia being in a low state of health but of sound mind and perfectly composed relying upon the Almighty disposses of all human events do make this my last Will and testament. In the first place Major Charles Berry & Robert McChesney or either of them to sell my plantation and Negro man Seifico(?) left me by the will of my brother Adam McChesney and also the rest of my property and out of the money arising therefrom to pay my sister Sally Moffett the Legacy coming to her which was left by the will of my Grandfather Patrick Crawford to my brother George and sixty pounds to my sister Nancy or her Heirs forever and sixty pounds to my sister Betsy or her Heirs forever the Balance of the money arising from the sales of the above mentioned property to be equally divided between my Sisters Margaret McChesney and Rebecca McChesney or their Heirs forever.
