HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: Jacob Cleek seems to have come from Rockbridge. He died in 1813, and his sons were David, Josiah, John and Benjamin, Jacob Cleek, Byrds Company 2nd, Virginia Regiment Indian War.
