Wood Cemetery Location: 13.5 miles south from Millboro Springs, Virginia, on Route #42, thence .4 mile right on Route #631. Indian Mound, 300 yards on east side of the road, on property of Edward Matheney. Bath County OWNERS: (1936) Edward Matheney DESCRIPTION: Indian Mound in open field. HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The property where this mound is located, has always been known as “Indian Hill”. This mound was opened in August 1936, by professor S.H.
