between John BEATY of DAVIES Co. INDIANA and ORLANDO GRIFFITT of  Bath Co. Va.
... survey made by William THOMPSON and bequathed to his son ARCHIBALD
THOMPSON in his last will and test. Then transferred from ARCHIBALD THOMPSON
to ANDREW BEATY and afterward was transferred by ANDREW BEATY to above
mentioned JOHN BEATY.

(TO) William DOUGLASS and ROBERT SITTING__ executors of RICHARD MAYLOR
deceased of county aforesaid. 25 Acres June 1817

p. 495 JOHN BAXTER AND MARGARET his wife of Pocohontas Co. Va. 1st part and
(TO) William GATEWOOD and Jane of Bath Co. Va. of second part and Samuel
GATEWOOD of same county of third part... lands which JACOB WARWICK claimed the
equitable right and legal title to which the commencement of said law suit in
superior ct. of chancery at Lewisburg June 1822 cause head, John BAXTER should
convey said JACOB WARWICK lands. Jacob WARWICH has directed lands be conveyed
to Wm.GATEWOOD and Jane his wife (the said Jane being his dau.) for life and
to SAMUEL N> GATEWOOD his grandswon the remainder in fee. ... Lands were
granted to John BAXTER Aug.1772.
