Between Thomas Milhollin and Martha his wife of the County of Bath and Commonwealth of Virginia of the one part and Edmund P. Walton of the same county and commonwealth of the other part Witnesseth ---- the said Thomas Milhollin and Martha his wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of one hundred Dollars in hand paid by the said Edmund P Walton before the Sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and themselves therewith fully satisfied and --- have granted bargained and sold [alivred] and confirmed unto the said Edmund P. Walton his heirs & afsigns forever and by these presents do Grant bargain and sell [allow] and confirm unto this said Edmund P. Walton his heirs or afsigns a Certain tract or parcel of Land Containing One hundred Acres being in the county of Bath lying on the Waters of Cedar Creek a part of said Thomas Milhollins 800 Acre Survey – Beginning at two white Oaks Waltons own Corner thence North Seventy E Sixteen poles to two white Oaks by the old road North forty East thirty poles to a double white [Okes] by said road North twenty East twenty one poles to a pin Oak & white Oak one on each side of said road South forty six East one hundred and eighty nine poles to a white Oak Stump in Watsons field on the old line and with it South eighteen East one hundred & forty poles to two pines said Waltons own corner and with his line North forty [six] West three hundred and Seven poles to the Beginning – To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land with all and singular the premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the said Edmond P. Walton his heirs Executors administrators or afsigns forever and the said Thomas Milhollin and Martha his wife do by these presents bind themselves their heirs executors and administrators or afsigns free from the claim or claims of them the sd Thomas Milhollin and Martha his wife or their heirs and from the claim or claims of any person or manner of persons claiming under them or their heirs whatsoever shall warrant and will warrant and forever defend the said tract or parcel of Land by these presents.
