Contributor: Wayne Coffey --------------------------------------------------- Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Bright Venable were conducted in the chapel of the Sensabaugh-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Craigsville, Thursday at two p.m., with the Rev. Arthur H. Williams, pastor of the Craigsville Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment was in the Woodland Cemetery in Bath County. Mrs. Venable, widow of Richard Franklin Venable, died in King’s Daughters’ Hospital, Staunton, Monday, Jan. 15, at 2:45 p.m. She was born in Bath County, Feb. 20, 1877. Survivors include five sons, William H. Venable, Buffalo, N. Y., Richard W. Venable, Chester; Russell B. Venable, Staunton and A. Lyle Venable, Colonial Heights; two daughters Mrs. J. Henley Norfleet, Norfolk and Miss Clara Venable, Charlottesville; one sister, Mrs. Charles B. Woodzell, Indiana and a brother, Arch Bright, Staunton; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive. Note: Newspaper and date of the following obiturary is unknown.
