WILL: Willis Kincaid, 1883 CONTRIBUTOR: Leland Bell ------------------------------------------------------------- Will of Willis Kincaid: I Willis Kincaid of the County of Bath in the State of Virginia, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make and publish this as and for my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all others or former Will heretofore made by me. 1st I direct,my executor herein after named to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses out of the first money that may come to his hands from my Estate and he is hereby directed to make sale of my personal Property, or so much thereof as may be necessary, to pay off my said debts. and apply the proceeds arising from such sale accordingly 2nd I Will and bequeath unto my wife Margaret T Kincaid, the whole of my Real Estate of which I may die seized in the county of Bath, as well as the lands lying on the waters of Elk in Pocahontas County West Virginia , to her, for and during her natural life. I also will and bequeath unto my said wife, the rest and residue of my personal Estate (if any) after the payment of my debts aforesaid for and during her natural life. 3rd After the death of my said wife, Margaret T. Kincaid, I direct my Executor to make sale of the whole of my Estate, both Real and personal, including my Pocahontas Lands, and the proceeds arising from such sale, I will and direct that it be equally divided between all of my Children. eight in number. Viz: Floyd Kincaid, Charles Lewis Kincaid, Martha A Dill, wife of James Dill, Joseph B. Kincaid,, Lizzie H Cleek, wife of Eli Cleek, Margaret E. Gwin, wife of George Gwin, John W Kincaid and Rachel V. Kincaid. The distributive share that may be coming to each of my Daughters, I direct it to be paid to them for their sole and separate use, and not to be subject or liable in any manner to the payment of their husbands debts. 4th I hereby constitute and appoint my son Floyd Kincaid Executor of this my last Will and Testament, in Testimony whereof I have hereunto signed my name and affixed my Seal this 2nd day of May, A.D. 1883.
