[from Bible of Albert Ramsey which has a
publication date of 1854. The entries appear to be in the same handwriting.
There are some differences in the ink, but not enough to say that the
entries were written at different times.]

[The Bible was given to a great niece, perhaps Marguerite Ramsey, after
Albert’s death, then to her cousin, Elizabeth Ramsey Venable, who gave it to
me, a distant cousin, several years ago. Lynne Rush Hundley, Portsmouth
Virginia, Oct. 2001.]

Inside front cover says: Albert Ramsey   Albert Ramsey 1806 [the two names
appear to be by the same hand, but the date by a different hand.]

names appear to be by the same hand, but  the date appears to be by a

Eliza Ramsey Died May 23d 1881 [two or three numbers erased here] 82 years
of age.
William Ramsey Died Nov. 18th. 1886. Age 70
Simon Ramsey Died Jan. 18th 1888. Age 73
Eliza Witt. Died April ___the 1888. Age 54
Amanda Blanks Died Dec. 16th 1891. Age 52.
Albert Ramsey Died Sept. 16th 1883. Age 75.
Elizabeth Ramsey Died Dec. 29th 1901. Age 81.
