Bedford County Virginia USGenWeb Archives Deeds William GISH Commissioner to John SINER, deed, 1853 ----¤¤¤---- Between William Gish and John Siner, April 14, 1853 Bedford County Virginia Grantors Deed Book 36, page 194 This Deed made the 21st day of July in the year 1853 between William Gish of one part & John Siner of the other part.Whereas by a decree of the circuit court of Bedford County. Made on the 14th day of April 1853 in a suit in chancery therein depending, between John M. Otey surviving partner of the late firm of Holcomb & Otey plantiff and William Muse adm of William Greenwood decd & other defendants the said William Gish was appointed a commissioner to convey to the said John Siner a certain interest of said Williamam Greenwood decd in a tract of land in Bedford County Virginia other than a tract of 130 Acres in said County of which said Greenwood decd seized, & which said interest had been purchased by said Siner of said Gish. Who by another & prior decree in the same suit had been appointed a commissioner to sell said interest. With other lands therein specified. Now therefore this deed Witnesseth that in consideration of the premises & of one dollar in hand paid, the said William Gish doth grant & hereby conveys, to the said John Siner the said interest in the tract of land aforesaid above described. For a more particular description of said land, the chancery suit before mentioned is here referred to and the said William Gish doth covenant to & with said John Siner, that he will warrant specially the property hereby conveyed. Witness the following signature and seal William Gish (seal) In the Clerks office of Bedford County Court the 21st day of July 1853.
