We have given granted & confirmed & by these presents for us our Heirs & Successors Do give grant & confirm unto Henry Barnes on certain Tract or Parcel of Land containing four hundred & four Acres lying and being in the County of Bedford on the West branches of Turnip Creek & bounded as followeth To Wit, Beginning at John Robertsons corner hickory thence a long his line North one hundred & forty four Poles to his & ______ Jones's cornered Oak thence a long Jones's Lines West thirty six poles to his corner Shrub white Oak North sixty seven Degrees West one hundred & eighty poles to a Pine thence ______ South fifty five Degrees West sixty poles to a Chestnut Oak South two hundred & twenty poles to Pointers South sixty Degrees East eighty two poles to a Pine South fifty Degrees East one hundred & six Poles to Robertson's corner thence along his line North Eighty degrees West forty poles to his corner Pine & North thirty five degrees East one hundred & twenty poles to the first Maker With all &c.
