Patrick Bryson to Jacob Kinsey, 24 Mar 1784, 338 acres on Bushy Run in Bedford County page 460 This Indenture made this 24th day of March 1784 between Patrick Bryson of the County of Bedford & State of Virginia of the one part and Jacob Kinsey of Said County and State of the other Part Witnesseth that he the said Patrick Bryson for and in Consideration of One Hundred and thirty Pounds Currt. Money of Sd. State to him in Hand paid by the said Jacob Kinsey, the Receipt whereof he Doth hereby Acknowledge and himself therewith to be fully Satisfied & Paid hath given, granted, bargained and sold, and by these Presents doth give grant bargain and sell ?En____ release and Confirm unto the Said Jacob Kinsey his Heirs and assigns forever One Certain Tract or Parcel of Land containing Three hundred & thirty Eight Acres lying & being in the County of Bedford on Bushy Run and bounded as follows, to wit, Beginning at a Sorrell Tree on said Run thence off new Lines South fifteen Degrees East sixteen Poles to a Red Oak, thence North fifty two Degrees East One Hundred & fifty six poles to Pointers on a Branch thence up said Branch South sixty Six Degrees East twenty eight Poles to a Hickory, thence North sixty four poles to a Black Oak thence North sixty six Degrees East Sixty poles to a Red Oak, thence North thirty Degrees West One Hundred and fifty poles to a Red Oak, thence North eighty Degrees West One Hundred page 461 and fifty Poles to a Red Oak, thence south ?____ Degrees West two Hundred and fifty four Poles to a White Oak, thence South thirty Degrees East Eighty two Poles to a White Oak in Bushy Run aforesaid and up the said Run as it Meanders to the Beginning. To have and to hold the said Tract or Parcel of Land with all Woods, Waters, Houses, Buildings, Improvements, and all and Singular its Priviledges and Appurtenances to the said Jacob Kinsey his Heirs & Assigns forever and he the said Patrick Bryson and Hannah his Wife their Heirs &c shall and will to the said Jacob Kinsey his Heirs and assigns forever warrant and Defend against all Persons Demanding & Claiming the said Tract of Land and Premises or any Part or Parcel thereof and they the sd. Patrick Bryson and Hannah his Wife doth further Covenant and agree to and with the said Jacob Kinsey his Heirs and Assigns that they the said Patrick Bryson and Hannah his Wife will at any time hereafter if Required make & perform anything that may be for the More Effectual and making sd.
