(Submitter note: This transcription of a Land Patent issued to Daniel C(h)andler of Albemarle Co, VA, was dated July 13, 1755. However, this land (now within the city of Lynchburg, VA) was already part of the newly formed County of Bedford (formed 1753, organized 1754). The survey, which was being recorded in this document, was probably completed prior to the formation of the new County.)
