Witnesseth that the Said George Walton . . . for . . . the Just . . . Sum of Twenty-five pounds Current Money of Virginia . . . doth . . .sell . . .to . . .Absalom Jor- dan, his heirs and assigns forever One Certain Tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the County of Bedford on both sides of Stony fork of Goose Creek Containing two Hundred Acres more or less Begining (sic) at a corner Hickory of North Seventy One Degrees East two Hundred and thirty-two poles to Pointers North Twenty Degrees West One Hundred and Twenty Six poles to a Red Oak Bush in Cornots line on him South Seventy One Degrees West Two hundred and Seventy four poles to a Red Oak in Patent line thence along the same South Thirty five Degrees East One Hundred and twenty nine poles to the first Station . . .
