Linkous RADFORD -- Harvey Benjamin Linkous, 89, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2002, at the New River Valley Medical Center. He was a longtime member of the Radford Pentecostal Holiness Church. Harvey was a loving, devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be truly missed. His son and daughter-in-law, Bentley and Minnie Linkous preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Ava Baker Linkous; his children, Ted and Mary Linkous of Bristol, Don and Jeane Linkous of Abingdon, Jack and Beck Linkous of Hardy, Mike and Pam Linkous of Richburg, S.C., and Libbi and Lee Hicks of Radford; his grandchildren, Roger Linkous, Greg and Rose Linkous, Brady and Autumn Linkous, Jackie Linkous, Matthew Hicks, Brian and Tory Pegran and James and Brooke Welch; great- grandchildren, Debra and Benjamin Linkous; sisters, Birdie Albert of Christiansburg, Melovie and Russell Turner of Montcalm, W.Va.; and several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the Radford Worship Center with Dr. Hal Adams and Pastor Glennard Quesenberry officiating. Interment will follow in the Pentecostal Conference Cemetery in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
