Will of Kitturah (Cannon) Kennon, 1812 - Bedford Co., Virginia Will Book 4, Page 95 March 23rd 1812 I, Kitturah Kennon, of Bedford County do hereby make my last Will and Testament in a manner form following, that is to say. 1st I desire that all my just debts should be paid and after all my debts and funeral expenses are paid. 2nd I give to sister Milly Jackson the beds and furniture she has in possession. 3rd I give all my wearing apparel to my sister Rhese (Clarissa) Nichols except such as are otherwise disposed. 4th I give to my nephew Creed Meador my horse he has in possession. 5th I give my bed and furniture to my Niece Kitturah Meador, that her father Leroy Meador has in his possession. 6th I give to Elizabeth McCabe and the heirs of her body my Negro girl Nell and her increase forever. And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend John McCabe executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby. This Last Will and Testament of Kitturah Kennon, deceased, was proven by the oaths of Francis Board and Sarah McCabe and ordered to be recorded at last September court.
