WILL OF JACOB MOORMAN In the name of God Amen I Jacob Moorman of the County of Franklin and State of missouri being in perfect mind and senses do Make and Ordain this my last will and testament and (- - - -) any worldly property with which a kind providence has been (- - - - -) to bless me I do make the following distribution viz: It is my will and desire that my wife Susannah Moorman should have in peacible possession all and everything I possess during her natural life or widowhood & if my said wife should marry then it is my desire that my property should be distributed equally among my nine children, namely: Elizabeth Moorman, Catherine Joice, Melinda Joice, Hiram Moorman, Martha Moorman, Minna Moorman, Jacob Moorman Susan Moorman, Sarah J. Moorman. And as my daughter by my first wife Nancy Walden has not assisted in labouring for what I have I have (sic) (- - ) that she have one dollar. And I do hereby nominate Constitute and appoint my wife my lawful executrix in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this sixteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three.
