WILL ABSTRACT OF JAMES ROBINSON, 1777 - BEDFORD CO, VA WILL BOOK 1, PP 303-304 - Dated 27 DECEMBER, 1777 All the lands of which I am possessed to my dearly beloved wife Bettey ROBINSON, during her life or so long as she continues my widow the better to enable her to support herself and my children, after all my just debts are paid. I also give unto my wife all my other estate during her life or so long as she continues my widow to be used for her own support and the suport and education of my children. But when my wife shall marry or die my lands and all my other estate be sold and equally divided between my six children Anne, Molly, John, William, Thomas and Bettsey or so many of them as shall be then alove. If my wife should marry she to have an equal division or part of my said estate with my children. All my estate except land may be sold and divided at any time before my wife's death or marriage if she shall think proper.
