Will of Anderson Wheeler, 1836 - Bedford Co. VA In the name of God Amen, I ANDERSON WHEELER of Bedford County and the State of Virginia being weak in body, but sound and perfect mind and memory blessed be almighty God for the same do make and publish this as my last will and testment in a manner and forth following that is to say as first I give and bequenth unto my beloved wife Sarah Wheeler all of my stock of cattle, hogs, sheep and bees, all of my corn, bacon, fodder shucks with all of my household and kitchen furniture. I do also bequenth unto my two sons Roland Wheeler and Robert Wheeler jointly and equaly a certain part of my tract of land starting at the corner chestnut on the same side of a branch corner to George Madley thence along his line to William Johnson's corner on the creek there along his line to a double white Oak in the said line thence a new line to a little white Oak on the ridge in William Shewsbury's line thence along his line to Peter M. Wright's corner thence along his line to the begining. I do also give and bequenth unto my daughter Milly Douglas's four children Elizabeth Douglas, John A. Douglas, Martha J. Douglas and Roland Douglas jointly and equally the remainder of my tract of land begining at the double white Oak in William Johnson's line before named thence along his line to William Shrewsbury's cornor then along his line to the little white Oak on the ridge before named, thence along the new line to the begining. I do also give and bequenth unto my daughter Nancy Lancaster's two children to wit Thomas Lancaster and Sally Lancaster jointly and equally my two sorrel mares one of these Thomas Lancaster now has in his pocession which he is to keep by paying Sally Lancaster twenty-five dollars in being one half of her value. Also all of my farming utensels . I have toherefore released to my son Robert Wheeler the property I purcheased of him last spring and of wich I had a bill of sale. I do here by give to my son Robert Wheeler what cider I have on hand. I wish for grain to be sold and the money appointed to my debts.
