Bailey Greenwood appointed Surveyor of the Road, succeeding Edward McMullin. John Henry (Baptist) is exempted from payment of County and Parish levies in future on account of his age and infirmity. John Sproul appointed Surveyor of the Road, succeeding Elisha Knox. David McClenahan allowed 41 days' service, himself and horse, for use of the State Troops. John Brown fined 20 shillings for his insolence and swearing in presence of the Court. Motion of Joseph Hunter to build a water grist mill on his land on Dunlop's Creek dismissed. Johnathan Martin fined 20 shillings for his contempt and insolence offered in presence of the Court. George Hancock appointed guardian of Jean Green. Thomas Jordan and Philip McCaskey placed under bond for their good behavior for 12 months and 1 day. Joseph Carpenter allowed 12 shillings for blanket furnished Militia. James Dalzell appointed Surveyor of the Road from his own house to the Town. August 12, 1784. Pat Lockhart and David May appointed to make deeds to purchasers of Town Lots.
