Samuel Eason took the oath of a Commissioner of the Peace. Robert Elliott appointed Surveyor of the Road. William Grymes appointed Constable in place of John Reaburne. Martin McFarran took the oath of a Commissioner of the Peace. Trustees ordered to render account of sale of the town lots. James Wright, Jacob Parsinger, Michael Kimberlane and Jeremiah Bell ordered to view the best way for a road from James Wright's to Wm. Crawford's Mill. September 14, 1785. John Kincade fined 10 pounds for not returning execution against Andrew Grear. Nicholas Carper exempted from payment of poll tax for last year, it appearing to the Court that he was a Constable, and ought not to be taxed therewith.
