April 16, 1789.

    Elisha Knox appointed Surveyor of the Highway.

    Daker Davidson appointed Lieut, in Capt. Hill's Company.

    Thomas Ashley appointed Surveyor of the Highway.

    Hercules Ogle appointed Surveyor of the Highway.

    Robert Robertson appointed Surveyor of the Highway.

    Joseph Pryor appointed Inspector of Tobacco at Crow's Warehouse.

    License granted William Robinson and James Calhoon to retail goods.

    Joseph Garwood appointed Constable, in Capt. McDonald's Company.

    John Peck recommended as Capt. of the company lately commanded by David May,
resigned; Jos. Snodgrass as Lieut., and Patrick Sharkey Ensign.

    Elizabeth Johnson, a base born child, bound to Samuel Porter.

    Jane Loague, orphan of Martha Eager, bound to John McCallister or William
Loague.

    James Mason recommended as Lieut, and Wm. Norvill Ensign in Capt. Joseph
Richardson's Company.

    David Spurlock appointed Constable in Capt. Goodson's Company.

    James Williamson appointed Constable in Capt. Joseph Pryor's Co.

    License granted John McCrery to retail goods.

    Robt. Harris appointed Surveyor of the Highway.
