Robert Sutlington appointed Surveyor of the Highway. Dennis Callaghan, Valentine White, Richard Morris and Robert Armstrong appointed Surveyors of the Road. Dubartis Shepherd appointed Surveyor of the Road. Baker Davidson recommended as Captain of the Militia. William Eakin, son of Redmond Eakin, same. Joseph Eakin, same as Lieut. April 14, 1790. James Mason recommended as Captain of the Militia. James Armstrong took oath of a Captain of the Militia. James Breckenridge, same. Richard Mossis, Gent., resigns as Justice of the Peace. Ordered that William Craddock convey the widow Troutten from the house of Robert Anderson to his own house within three days, it appearing that the said Widow Troutten was left at this court house by said Craddock. View ordered of best way for a wagon road from the Big Lick to the Bedford county line. Samuel Todd appointed Sheriff by Gov. Beaverly Randolph and gave bond, Wm. McClenachan, Robert Harvey and Jas. Breckenridge, securities. William Taylor and John Craig admitted as under sheriffs. James Lash (alias Lashells) held for trial in the District Court on charge of passing in payment dollars of base material. Thomas Miller, Thomas Overstreet and Moses Pedan placed under bond to appear as witnesses against James Lash (alias Lashells).
