Road established from Abraham McConnell's by Looney's to Sinking Creek. Wm. Wright appointed Surveyor of the Road. Thomas King appointed Surveyor of the Road. John Reynolds appointed Constable. Samuel Black appointed Surveyor of the road. John Beale and Joseph Haynes took the oath of Commissioners of the Peace, the oath of Oyer and Terminer and the oath to support the Constitution of the United States. Wm. Smith admitted Deputy Clerk of this Court. Road established from the Lick Run Fording of James River to Joseph Haynes'. Peter Wright, Sr., exempted from working on the highway due to infirmities. Overseers of the Poor ordered to make provision for the support of Gilbert Norris, a poor person. John Smyth (John's Creek) took oath as Commissioner of the Peace, oath of Oyer and Terminer and oath to support the Constitution of the United States. Robert McMullen appointed Constable. Henry Walker granted leave to build a grist mill on his own place. Henry Walker and John Hawkins took the oath of Commissioner of the Peace, oath of Oyer and Terminer and oath to support the Constitution of the United States. John Peck took oath of Captain of the Militia. Leave granted William Douthat to keep an ordinary at his house in this Town.
