Samuel Tood took oath of Justice of the Peace and oath to support the Constitution of the United States. Road established from house of Mary Caldwell to ford of Craigs Creek, to join Sinking Creek Road at foot of Looney's Mountain. February 16, 1792 The Court proceeded to lay the levy. Sheriff ordered to collect from each tithable 24 pounds of tobacco. Johnathan Smith appointed Surveyor of the Road. Joseph Noftzinger appointed Surveyor of the Road. Anthony Gholson appointed Overseer of the Road.
