Road established from Harshbarger's Mill to the Great Road below Dr. Woods' Plantation. January 9, 1793. John Cartmill appointed Sheriff. Wm. Green admitted under Sheriff. License granted James Kenner to keep an ordinary at his house. Samuel Shepherd and William Anderson admitted under Sheriffs. January 12, 1793. John Kesler, charged with shooting and wounding Elizabeth Campbell, of which wound she died, was tried and found not guilty.
