December 8, 1795
    Samuel Kinnerly appointed Surveyor of the Streets of Monroe.

    John Painter appointed Constable in Capt. Paxton's Company.

    Archibald Caldwell, Robert Rowland, Jr., Adam Brize and William Verts
appointed Surveyors of the highway.

    John Hammock bound to William M. Furan.

    Frederick Reid appointed Surveyor of the Road.

    Archibald Murray granted license to keep an ordinary in the Town of Monroe.

    Alexander Henderson appointed Overseer of the Road.

    License granted John Gregor to keep an ordinary at his house.

    Ordered that the Sheriff make the necessary repairs to the jail, or cause
them to be made.

    Samuel Noftsinger and William Kyle appointed Surveyors of the Road.

    Riley Finney appointed Constable.

    Rev. Richard Bird (Methodist) granted license to celebrate the rites of
matrimony.

    Christian Huddle bound to Adam Beesaker.
