February 9, 1796

   Joseph Snodgrass appointed Surveyor of the Catawba Road.

   Samuel Leforce appointed Surveyor of the Road.

   The last session of Assembly having suspended the law for processioning, the
Sheriff is ordered to give notice that the processioners are hereby ordered not
to proceed in that business.

   William Reed, Jr., appointed Constable.

   John Gillispy, son of Robert Gillespy, appointed Constable.


February 10, 1796.

   The grand jury presented the following:

   Surveyors of the Road from the forks above Mr. Tapscott's to James River;
from Pattonsburg to the County line; Catawba road leading from John Glenn's to
Jacob Crider's; from the Courthouse to Morrow's; from Town to Hall's Run; from
Catawba road to James Tapscott's; from the Big Lick to James McCreery's; from
the Big Lick to Thomas Madison's; from Thomas Madison's to Gish's; from Michaol
Cloyd's to Carper's.

   Isaac Dawson and Chloe Delaney for living in an unlawful way,

   Robert Presham and Mary Ann Anderson, living in an unlawful way.
