Henry Cartmill fined for contempt of court. Wilson Davenport admitted to practice as an attorney in this Court. The grand jury presented the following: Dr. John LeMayeur, perjury. Following surveyors of the roads: From fork of Catawba Road below Town to Thomas Rowlarid's; from the fork at Stover's Town to Henry's Town; from the Big Lick to Mr. Madison's; from Town up the Catawba to the County line, for not keeping roads in repair. True bill against Samuel Lewis. James Moore becomes security for William Moore to maintain base born child.
