William Davidson resigns as Justice of the Peace and Coroner. Joseph Polk granted leave to build a grist mill on his own land. John Peck appointed Surveyor of the Highway. Jacob Long and William Herbert appointed Surveyors of the Highway. License granted George Walker to keep an ordinary at his house. John Wilson, Jr., appointed Constable. Joseph Switzer appointed Constable. John Grammer placed in care of Rev. Edward Mitchell until he becomes of sufficient age to be bound out according to law. October 10, 1798 Benjamin Howard certified as a person of honesty, probity and good demeanor.
