December 11, 1798
   Road established from Crow's old road by Elias Linkenhoger's to Hugh Brown's
Mill.

   Samuel Noftzinger appointed Constable.

   Wigton King granted license to keep an ordinary at his house.

   Road established leading from Walter Smiley's ford on the Catawba to Capt.
James Peery's.

   Henry Walker qualified as Sheriff.

   Anthony Haden, John Haden, Bartholomew Haden, Benjamin Gholson and John
Douglas admitted Deputy Sheriffs.
