    Peter F. Trines granted license to keep an ordinary.

    Rev. John Helms (Methodist) granted license to celebrate the rites of
matrimony.

    Howard Rutherford bound to Willis Copeland, cabinet maker.

    The grand jury presented the following:

    True bill against James Kimberling.

    True bill against Peter Minick.

    True bill against Henry Fizer, an infant under age, son of Adam Fizer.

    Surveyor of the road from Michael Spirur's to the short turn or near Walter
Smiley's, not keeping same in repair.

    Surveyor of the road from below Nicholas Carper's towards Amsterdam, not
keeping same in repair.

    Same from James Tapscott's to the Glade Field.

    John Peck and Thomas McFerran appointed guardians of Elizabeth Vanmeter and
Placy Vanmeter.

   Martin McFerran appointed guardian of Jacob, Joseph and Sarah Vanmeter,
children of Isaac Vanmeter, decd.

May 15, 1799

    License granted Thomas Price to keep an ordinary at his house.
