Present: Robert Breckenridge, James Trimble, Benja. Hawkins, George Skillern, Andw. Woods and Matthew Arbuckle, Gent. The proceedings in this case appearing to be irregular and contrary to law, the prosecution is dismissed and it is ordered that the prisoner be discharged out of custody and set at liberty. This court is adjd. These proceedings were signed. Robt. Breckenridge At a court held for Botetourt County 13th day of April, 1773. Present: Robert Breckenridge, John Maxwell, Andrw. Woods and Benjamin Hawkins, Gentlemen. Wm. Wooloy presented in court a certificate for nine hundred and two pounds of hemp raised by him and proved the same according to law, which is ordered to be certified. John Kelsey the same for seventeen hundred and ninety three pounds of hemp. Moses Kelsey the same for nine hundred and eleven pounds of ditto. Hugh Moore the same for six hundred and one pounds of ditto. Samuel Linsay the same for six hundred and nineteen pounds of ditto. Wm. Neelly the same for eighteen hundred and nineteen pounds of ditto. John Brown the same for one thousand & sixteen pounds of ditto. John Willson the same for three thousand and twenty pounds of ditto. Thomas Willson the same for two thousand one hundred & six pounds of ditto. John Young the same for eight hundred and eighty nine pounds of ditto. Daniel Keith the same for one thousand and fifty two pounds of ditto. James Hayes the same for fifteen hundred and fifty eight pounds of ditto. Frederick Highshaw the same for nine hundred and twenty four pounds of ditto. Alexander Dale the same order as next before this for fourteen hundred and fifty nine pounds of ditto.
