Written: December 1782

At a ct. held for Botetourt County the 12th day of Decr., 1782.

Present: Patrick Lockhart, Wm, Ward, Robert Harvey, Mathew Willson & Samuel
Todd, Gent. Justices.

    Ord. that John Parsinger, Captain Galloway, William Tipton and Field Jarvis
or any three of them being first sworn to view the road from Captain John
Robinson's on Jackson River to Captain Galloway's on Potts Creek, and that Jacob
Parsinger be surveyor of that part of the sd. road from Captain Robinson's to
tho widow Johnston's, and Thomas Tipton from thence to Captain Galloway's, who
with the petitioners for said road are to open and keep the same in repair. And
it is further ordered that James Wright and John Jarvis allott the tithables to
work under them respectively.

    Ord. that Francis Dougherty be apptd. Constable in the room of James Willson
who is dischd. from that office.

    Ord. that the ct. be adjd. till the court in course. The mins. of these
prcdgs. were signed by
