Miller all of Botetourt Co. In consideration of $312.50 from John I. Miller, bargain and sell the following tract of land situated in Botetourt Co. on the north side of James River containing by patent granted to David Smith 55 acres sold by [Tiencd] [Sawlipf] to Jacob A. Lockett, by Lockett to [Grant] B. Reynolds, and by said Reynolds to Dunnavant. Reynolds having received only an article of agreement to convey on selling to Dunavant covenanted with him that the said Lockett should make the agreement directly with… Evidenced by the written covenant date 10 Dec. 1835 and deed dated 6 Oct. 1836.
