Conner, Lawrence            Pen. 87           1787-1789
Soldier, 8th Virginia Regiment
Botetourt County


I do with the advice of Council hereby certify that Lawrence Conner, about 
___years of age, late a private in the 8th Virginia Regiment  and whose pay was 
at the rate of 24 pounds per annum was wounded in the service of the United 
States and that he is entitled him to  the sum of six pounds yearly, which 
allowance is accordingly made him , to commence from the 1st day of January 
1786.  Given under my hand as Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia, at 
Richmond, this 23rd day of October 1787.

Conner's pension was augmented to the sum of 12 pounds in 1789.
