Copy Teste H W Bowyer DC Botetourt County *********************************************************************** George Kilmer/Kilmore/Killmore first resided near Buchanan on the James River at the mouth of Rennick's Run. After the sale of this land he purchased and relocated to land on Timber Ridge. George Kilmer's first wife was Eve -?-. Children: 1) Elizabeth m. Robert Hammitt, 2) Susannah, 3) Eve m. Jacob Cupp, 4) Barbara m. 1st Henry Harshbarger & 2nd Jacob Heck, 5) George D. m. Elizabeth Harshbarger, 6) Magdalena m. James Johnson, 7) Easter, 8) Catherine m. John Elmore & 9) Hannah m. James D. Hunter. It is unclear why George didn't name Hannah & Catherine in his will, perhaps they are the same as Susannah and Easter. This possibility has not been explored. He married his second wife Catharina/Catherine/Caty Moul/Mould/Moulds in 1813. Children: 10) Marget, 11) William, 12) Nancy & 13) Sarah. (Eve Kilmer & Jacob Cupp's marriage bond is dated 30 Oct 1810 at Botetourt County. Surety was George Kilmer, father of Eve. Jacob and Eve lived for some time in Botetourt and then removed to Montgomery County. Eve was living when her father's will was written 21 October 1819. She died in Montgomery County prior to the 1850 census. Jacob may have been married to another, name unknown, prior to Eve Kilmer.)
