Carl Edward Cox
    Committal services for Carl Edward Cox will be held on Wednesday at 
11 a.m. at Glenwood Cemetery with military honors presented by the VFW Patton-
Crosswhite Post 6975. Pallbearers include Allen Bennett, Christopher Brackett, 
Jerry Quinley, Richard Hoops, Mitchell Crusenberry and Tony Slagle. Online

    Mr. Cox, 67, of 186 Steele Creek Park Road, Bristol, Tenn., passed away 
Friday, Feb. 14, 2003, at the University of Virginia Hospital in 
Charlottesville, Va.
    Weaver Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
