Clark Thelma Shelton Clark, 82, of 718 Oakview Ave., Bristol, Va., went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 13, 2003, in the Bristol Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Clark was born in Charleston, W.Va., and had lived most of her life in the Bristol area. She had retired from Virginia Intermont College with over 20 years of service. Mrs. Clark was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Clark is survived by her husband of 50 years, Kelly Franklin; one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa Lockhart and husband Thomas; two sons, Elbert Shelton and Gary Clark; one brother, William Shelton; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 15, 2003, at 4 p.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James McDaniel officiating.
