Cox Gladys H. Cox, 91, of Bristol Virginia died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at her daughter's home. She was born in Maryville, Tenn., a daughter of the late William T. and Annie Lane Dula, and had lived most of her life in Bristol. She was the widow of Homer Cecil Cox. She was a member of First Church of God. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlotte Pecktol and Mary Delaney. Mrs. Cox is survived by a daughter, Billie W. Smith of Bristol Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 o'clock Thursday morning in Heritage Chapel of Memories in Glenwood Cemetery with Mr. Elmer Lester officiating. Burial will follow in Shelby Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Wednesday evening at Blevins Funeral Home.
