Hartsock Brazilla Campell Hartsock was born in Bristol and spent most of her life here. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Anchor Sunday School Class, United Methodist Women, youth worker and choir member for several years. She was employed by H.P. King Company until moving to Melbourne, Fla., where she retired from Belk Lindsey as a buyer. She is survived by nieces and nephews; including one special nephew, whom she loved and who lived with her and cared for her in her last years. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church with Minister Rev. David St. Claire officiating. Interment will follow at East Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers include men of First United Methodist Church: Jim Fletcher, Paul Lee, Russell Basham, Jack Morris, Lewis Hyde, Jack Welch, Don Davis, Charles Overstreet, J.T. Williams and Dan Wysor. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net.
