Mrs. Helbert was born in Bristol Tennessee, to the late Trospy and Martha Campbell Roark. She had lived all her life in the Bristol area and was a member of the New Life Tabernacle Church. Mrs. Helbert was a retired chef. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Helbert. Mrs. Helbert is survived by four sons, Frank Fulton of Indianapolis, Fred Fulton of Abingdon, Hal Fulton of Jonesborough, Tenn., and Mark Fulton of Bristol Virginia; two daughters, Deborah Sanders of Rogersville, Tenn., and Lisa Skelley, Dover, Del.; one brother, John Thomas Roark of Farmville, Va.; two sisters, Kathleen Kelsey of Stedman, N.C., and Betty DeVault of Fayetteville, N.C.; 12 grandchildren, Martin Sanders, Jonathan and Joel Sanders, Frankie Lee Fulton Jr., Angela Kimberly and Daniel Fulton, Scotty Tolley, Jacky Fulton, Felicia Skelley and Michael Skelley and Amanda Fulton; and several great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at 11 a.m. in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Morrell and Rev. Deon Turner officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Martin Sanders, Joel Sanders, Scotty Tolley, Daniel Fulton, Frankie Lee Fulton Jr., Michael Skelley, Jacky Fulton and Tony DeVault.
