He was a son of Betty King Baker and the late Huston Baker, and had lived most of his life in Scott County. He had been a resident of Big Stone Gap for two years. He was of the Baptist faith and was a timber cutter and mill logger. Surviving are his wife, Robin Townsend Baker; a daughter, Lori Beth Baker of the home; a brother, Virgil "J.C." Mr. Webb, 78, died Sunday, July 2, 2000, in a Kingsport hospital. Among survivors are daughter-in-law Vicki Webb of Martinsville; grandchildren Kimberly D. Flanders, Lee Webb and Tommy D. Webb Jr.; great-grandchildren Danny Flanders, Joey Flanders and Cody Webb; two special friends, Marlene Turner and Debbie McMillian; and a host of friends and neighbors. Pallbearers will be Wesley Wallace, Tim Wallace, Arnold Wells, J.C. Owens, Rick Vanover, Joel Webb, Charles (Pete) Altizer, Bill Bandy and Jack Burr. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. James McVey, the Hardee's Gang: Ralph Davis, Elmer Compton, Rudolph Whitt, Bob Shepherd, Bill Herron, Gene Nolley, Gene Cox, Darrell McGhee, Bob Webb, Jennings Webb, Bill Mullins, Ben Kennedy, Mike Pruett, the Rev.
