He was born in Fairfax County, Va., a son of the late Henry and Geneivie Bogle, and had lived in Smyth County for over 34 years. He was a member of Smyth County Moose Lodge. Surviving are his wife, Betty Bogle; four sons, Junior Bogle, Tony Bogle, Dennis Bogle and Bobby Bogle, all of Marion; three daughters, Edith Croy of Marion and Sharon Crockett and Muff Hafley, both of Rural Retreat; six sisters, Laura Mae Hitt of Alexandria, Va., Edith Curtis and Shirley Medina, both of Fairfax, Va., Barbara Mullins of Manassas, Va., Carolyn Elliott of Falls Church, Va., and Diane Suttles of Strasburg, Va.; three brothers, Reed Bogle and Raymond Bogle, both of Falls Church, and Wayne Bogle of Partlow, Va.; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Bogle was also preceded in death by two sisters, Susie Bogle and Helen Bogle; a brother, Rocky Bogle; and a daughter-in-law, Kay Bogle. Booker ERWIN, Tenn. -- Willie Woodfin Booker, 78, of 420 Union St., died Sunday, June 18, 2000, in Johnson City Medical Center. She was born in Unicoi County, a daughter of the late Elmer and Myrtle Jones Woodfin, was a homemaker and was of the Holiness faith. She was the widow of William Booker. Surviving are two sons, W.A. Booker and Jimmie Brown, both of Erwin; two daughters, Pansy Tipton and Madeline Byrd, both of Johnson City; five brothers, Eugene Woodfin and P.A. Williams George John Williams, 77, of 133 Woodside Drive, Bristol, Tenn., died Saturday, June 24, 2000, in Wellmont Hospice House. He was born in Uniontown, Pa., a son of the late George and Budra Williams, and had lived in the Bristol area for the past 30 years. He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in industrial engineering and was a manager with Westinghouse Electric Corp., where he retired with 40 years of service. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Surviving are his wife, Josephine Williams; a daughter, Linda A. Criswell of Knoxville; four sons, Richard G. Williams of Dallas, Michael J. Williams of Jacksonville, Fla., Robert J. Williams of Bristol Tennessee and John G. Williams of Nashville; a brother, Joseph Williams of Uniontown; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass will be celebrated Monday at 8 p.m. in St. Anne's Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas A. Ianucci will be celebrant. Committal services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Glenwood Cemetery. She was a daughter of the late Landon and Lena Mae McCracken. Surviving are her husband, Everett Williams; two sons, Mike Hill of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Jess Hill of Bristol Virginia; four daughters, Sandra Fleenor, Betty Rash, Barbara Sherfey and Kathy Wilson, all of Bristol Virginia; seven sisters, Glenna Watson of Paxton, Ill., Georgia Ethel Mason of Bristol Virginia, Margaret Luker of Piney Flats, Mildred (Ann) Akers of Fort Wayne, Ind., Barbara (Sue) Widener of Meadowview, Beverly Yarbough of McEwen, Tenn., and Linda Tibbitt of Findley, Okla.; three brothers, Jim McCracken and Ted McCracken, both of Abingdon, and Bill McCracken of Capitol Heights, Md.; eight grandsons; three granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; and two great-grandsons. Mrs. Williams was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Twell; and a brother, Curtis McCracken.
